Filming for The Veronica Mars Movie is underway and the first photo of filming has now been released with star Kristen Bell featured.
Hypable earlier reported and brought fans unofficial photos from the set, but now the first official look comes from Entertainment Weekly. It’s a behind-the-scenes look featuring Bell.
The Veronica Mars Movie is filming in Los Angeles, instead of its often-used location of San Diego, and has featured extras from the Kickstarter project in the past few days to film its Neptune High reunion fight scene. It is unclear who the fight is between or what the fight is about, but class tensions and high school vendettas are two plausible options.
In other Veronica Mars news, Hypable reported yesterday that Ken Marino and Martin Starr would be joining the cast with Marino reprising his role of Sherriff Vinnie Van Lowe. It was announced today that Marino would also be joining the HBO show Eastbound and Down for its entire fourth season. Are you excited to see Marino on the HBO show? Marino is coming off of a string of successes recently with the hit Yahoo series Burning Love, and being hired by 20th Century Fox to script Go The F to Sleep and True Freshman.
Rob Thomas yesterday revealed that more cast additions will be announced this week as fans wonder if Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn), Parker Lee (Julie Gonzalo), Jackie Cook (Tessa Thompson), Van Clemmons (Duane Daniels), Clarence Wiedman (Christopher B. Duncan) and others will appear in The Veronica Mars Movie.
What do you hope will happen in The Veronica Mars Movie?
